Job summary

Strongdor is seeking a Production Operative for the late shift at the Morecambe site. You will contribute to manufacturing bespoke steel doors, operating machinery, and maintaining quality standards. The role is on-site with a four-day week and a Friday-Sunday break.

The position offers a starting salary of £29,000 plus a 10% shift allowance, enhanced holidays, and a discretionary quarterly bonus. Training and development are provided to help you grow within the company.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in manufacturing.
• GCSE education level.
• On-site role at Strongdor Morecambe.

Responsibilities

Production Operative – Late Shift
Location: Strongdor Factory, Morecambe
Salary: Starting salary of £29,000 (+10% shift allowance)

Do you want to work 4 days and enjoy a 3-day weekend every week? Our late shift hours are Monday to Thursday 2:45pm to 12:45am.

What you’ll be doing:

As a Production Operative, you'll play an important role in creating our industry-leading steel doors.

You'll be:

• Working as part of a supportive team to manufacture bespoke steel doors to specification and quality standards
• Operating machinery, tools and production equipment safely and efficiently
• Following safe working practices and operating procedures
• Maintaining high housekeeping standards
• Sharing ideas for improvements
• Supporting different areas of production when required
