Job summary

Müller UK & Ireland is recruiting Production Operatives to join our Blow Moulding department at Bellshill, supporting the bottle supply to production lines in a fast-paced environment.

This role focuses on safe operation of bottle supply equipment, stock movements and quality controls to ensure continuous production. The shift is 4 on 4 off (days and nights), with a salary of £30,462.21 per year and permanent full-time status.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse, production or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work a rotating days and nights shift pattern.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to Health & Safety.
• A reliable, flexible team player able to follow safe systems of work.

Responsibilities

• Operate bottle supply and conveying equipment safely.
• Support stock movements and bottle supply to production areas.
• Clear jams on bottle conveying systems.
• Operate manual and automated de‑bagging equipment.
• Complete bottle supply traceability paperwork accurately.
• Load and unload trailers for stock movement.
• Carry out machine safety checks in line with procedures.
• Maintain hygiene and housekeeping standards to Grade A level.
• Support waste control activities, including baler use.
• Escalate issues promptly to minimise downtime.

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off – Days & Nights (7am–7pm / 7pm–7am)

Salary: £30,462.21 per annum

Premium rates included in your pay:

• 1.25x for Saturdays
• 1.5x for Sundays
• 1.23x for unsociable hours (6pm–4am Mon–Fri)
• 2x for public holidays

Additional premiums:

• 1.25x consolidated pay rate for overtime
• 2x basic pay rate for Christmas Day & New Year’s Day
