Job summary

Interaction Recruitment Group is hiring a Production Operative for a large Goole manufacturing site. The role is temporary ongoing with various shift patterns and weekly pay. Driving may be required due to site location.

You will assist with unloading materials, preparing packaging for batches, labelling products, and moving items using pallet or forklift equipment. The environment is described as friendly with an open-plan plant.

Responsibilities

• Assist in unloading raw materials and packaging from delivery vehicles to storage and then to production areas.
• Prepare containers and packaging for each production batch; label and box end products.
• Work with the production team on preparation and blending of solutions or powder batches according to schedule, including labeling and bottling.
• Move finished products to storage areas using pallet trucks and forklift trucks; maintain cleanliness in production and storage areas.

Production Operative

Pay - £12.71 per hour (weekly pay) (+ 15% Shift allowance for shift work)

Working hours - Various shift patterns, days and rotational shifts available

Location -Goole DN14 7UF (Must be able to drive due to company location)

Contract - Temporary ongoing

The role involves but is not limited to;

• 1. Assisting in the unloading of raw materials and packaging from delivery vehicles to storage areas and from there to production areas.
• 2. To prepare containers and packaging for each production batch; labelling and boxing end products.
• 3. To work within the production team (as directed by Production Supervisor) with preparation and blending of solutions or powder batches according to production schedule, including:-
  • a) labelling and bottling finished batches
  • b) transferring bottles/tubs to outer cartons and boxes.
  • c) Moving finished products to appropriate storage area using pallet trucks for forklift trucks
• 4. To maintain clean and tidy production and storage areas as directed by the Supervisor.
