Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is hiring a Production Operative in Goole for a full-time, temporary ongoing role in a large manufacturing plant. You will support unloading materials, prepare packaging, and help with batch production while following safety and quality procedures.

The role offers varied shifts with days and rotations, and a weekly pay cycle. Driving is required due to location. Training is provided and you will be part of a friendly production team.

Responsibilities

• Assist unloading raw materials and packaging from vehicles to storage and production areas.
• Prepare containers and packaging for each batch; label and box end products.
• Work with the production team on preparation and blending of solutions or powders per the schedule.
• Maintain clean and tidy production and storage areas as directed by the Supervisor.

Production Operative

Pay- £12.71 per hour (weekly pay) (+ 15% Shift allowance for shift work)

Working hours– Various shift patterns, days and rotational shifts available

Location– Goole DN14 7UF (Must be able to drive due to company location)

Contract- Temporary ongoing

The role involves but is not limited to;

• 1. Assisting in the unloading of raw materials and packaging from delivery vehicles to storage areas and from there to production areas.
• 2. To prepare containers and packaging for each production batch; labelling and boxing end products.
• 3. To work within the production team (as directed by Production Supervisor) with preparation and blending of solutions or powder batches according to production schedule, including:-
  • a) labelling and bottling finished batches
  • b) transferring bottles/tubs to outer cartons and boxes.
  • c) Moving finished products to appropriate storage area using pallet trucks for forklift trucks
• 4. To maintain clean and tidy production and storage areas as directed by the Supervisor.
