Job summary

Manpower (United Kingdom) is hiring for an Operative role in Stoney Stanton. The position involves shifts from 16:00 to 01:00, Monday to Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid break. You will work with cylinders, receive full training, and earn £14.49 per hour plus a £20 per shift bonus; overtime is paid at £21.74 per hour.

The job emphasises safety, accuracy, and working outdoors in all weather. A full driving licence is required, and prior experience in production or related fields is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Successful candidates will require a full driving licence.
• Experience in production, manufacture, construction, or labouring highly beneficial.
• Manual handling and movement of gas cylinders up to a maximum weight of 47kgs.
• Working outdoors in all weathers - resilience is key.
• Physical work load.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow strict control and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Delivering targets set by production leadership at the start of the shift.
• Safely operate process to meet production targets. Rotate on Cylinder filling, maintenance and inspection activities as required by production leadership.
• Loading and unloading cylinder vehicles as required.
• Perform any Cylinder re-qualification activities as requested.
• Ensure client standards are adhered to during the filling process.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the yard area.

Shifts 16:00 - 01:00 Monday to Friday, (minus 30 minutes unpaid break)

Competitive Pay: Earn £14.49 per hour, 42.5 hours per week,

PLUS £20 shift bonus paid per shift. overtime rates of £21.74 per hour.
