Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Job Description:

My client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production and Quality Assurance Operative to join their team in Preston. This role involves working in a fast-paced food production environment with a focus on maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure efficient and safe production processes.
• Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure products meet company and regulatory standards.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) systems.
• Perform routine inspections and audits to identify and address any quality issues.
• Maintain accurate records of production and quality assurance activities.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a food production environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of HACCP principles is highly desirable.
• Forklift Truck (FLT) certification is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
