Job summary

Avara Foods Ltd is hiring for a Post Chill Operative at our Hereford site. This permanent role offers full training with no prior experience required. The job involves working in a fast-paced, refrigerated FMCG environment assembling and packaging raw food products.

40 hours per week with shifts starting early in the morning. Competitive hourly rate and benefits including paid weekly, holiday allowance and staff support facilities.

Qualifications

• Good level of English and basic numeracy skills.
• Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively.
• Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks.
• Experience within a production/manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Weigh and label products in steel bins ensuring that are sealed and covered.
• Maintain safe operation of pallet trucks.
• Transport products to dispatch as required.
• Manual handling which can include lifting equipment and products up to 20kg.
