Job summary

Proactive Personnel Ltd is recruiting Aerospace Production Operatives to join a busy manufacturing team producing high-quality components for the aerospace industry.

This role is ideal for reliable, hardworking people who thrive in a fast-paced, hot foundry environment and who are committed to quality, safety and teamwork. You will operate production machinery, load and unload components, perform quality checks and follow detailed work instructions.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, foundry or production experience is desirable but not essential.
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding, hot environment.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and undertake training where required.

Responsibilities

• Operating production machinery and equipment.
• Working within a hot foundry environment handling metal castings.
• Loading and unloading components safely.
• Finishing, fettling and inspecting castings to required quality standards.
• Carrying out visual quality checks and reporting any defects.
• Following detailed work instructions and production schedules.
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and workplace safety.
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures, including the use of PPE.
