Job summary

Proactive Personnel Ltd is seeking an Aerospace Production Operative to join a busy manufacturing team producing high-quality aerospace components. You will operate production machinery in a hot foundry environment, load/unload components, finish and inspect castings to required standards, and follow detailed work instructions.

Qualifications

• Physically demanding, hot working environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Previous manufacturing, foundry or production experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Operating production machinery and equipment.
• Working within a hot foundry environment handling metal castings.
• Loading and unloading components safely.
• Finishing, fettling and inspecting castings to required quality standards.
• Carrying out visual quality checks and reporting any defects.
• Following detailed work instructions and production schedules.
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and workplace safety.
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures, including the use of PPE.
