Job summary

Randstad Technologies Recruitment in Hinckley is seeking a Machine Operator to join a production line. Location: Dodwells Rd, Hinckley. Pay rate: £14.91 per hour PAYE. Contract length: 3-6 months. Shifts alternate between 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm, with start ASAP.

The role requires 2+ years in a production environment, strong communication skills, ability to stand for long periods, manual handling, and a valid driving licence with car access. OT policies apply.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a production environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and perform manual handling.
• Driving licence and access to a car.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up machinery in line with health and safety processes.
• Maintain high quality standards on all produced items.
• Meet customer demands in a timely manner.
• Complete any other duties as assigned by the shift manager.

Machine Operator

Location: Dodwells Rd, Hinckley LE10 3BX, United Kingdom

PayrateRate: £14.91 Per Hour PAYE

OT 1.5x

OT 2.0x

Contract length: 3-6 Months

Shift Patterns: Alternating shifts -

• Week 1 - 6am to 2pm Monday to Friday
• Week 2 - 2pm to 10pm Monday to Friday

Start: ASAP (within 1-2 weeks)

Responsibilities

• Working in line with Health and Safety guidance and processes at all times
• Managing the setting and running of machinery
• Achieving high quality standards on all work produced
• Adhering to customer demands in a timely manner
• Completing any other duties relevant to the department as requested by the shift manager

Essential requirements

• Previous experience in a production environment (2+ years)
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Comfortable being on foot for long periods of time
• Able to conduct manual handling
• Driving licence and use of a car
