Job summary

Sysco is seeking a Production Operative at our Bicester depot to ensure freshly prepared products are delivered on time and to meet our customers’ demands.

You will work in a temperature-controlled environment, handle meat and fish, maintain stock rotation, and support production schedules, quality, legality, and safety. The role includes uniform provision and a company pension.

Qualifications

• Experience in a food production environment is advantageous.
• Knowledge of basic food safety practices is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Receive and manage goods to support production schedules.
• Ensure products meet quality, safety and presentation standards.
• Maintain stock rotation and work to deadlines in a temperature-controlled environment.

Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm
40 hours per week

As a?Production Operativein our Bicester depot, youll play an important part ensuring our freshly prepared products are delivered on time to meet our customer demands.

Your role is to ensure that products manufactured at Fresh Kitchen are handled and managed to the agreed production schedule and that they comply with specific customer requirement with key focus on product quality, legality and safety and overall presentation of product to the customer. In addition, key areas of responsibility include receiving goods in, maintaining good stock rotation/management and working towards targets and deadlines.

To join us as a Production Operative, youll be comfortable working in a temperature controlled (chilled) environment dont worry well give uniform to keep you warm! You will be handling and preparing various food products including meat and fish and spend most of the day on your feet. Experience in a food production environment or knowledge of basic food safety would be an advantage, but your ability to learn and be part of the team is more important.
