Job description

Responsibilities:

1. Operate container filling/labelling machinery safely and efficiently to produce top quality products.
2. Report and/or correct safety issues. Maintain proper safety conditions of equipment and surroundings.
3. Perform quality inspections on materials and finished products, including checks on codes, seals, and weights.
4. Ensure proper and accurate product/package/code changes.
5. Perform all filling/labelling operator CIP duties and surface foaming with mechanical cleaning according to schedules.
6. Perform simple preventative maintenance, such as cleaning, inspecting, lubricating, and tightening.
7. Monitor equipment and process performance, and address issues proactively.

What you’ll need to be successful in the role

• Good communication skills with the ability to understand instructions.
• Previous experience in an FMCG or related industry.
• Food hygiene certificate.
• NVQ level 2 or equivalent is desirable.
• Experience with SAP process order management and automated data collection systems such as SCADA, OEE, SPC.
