Job summary

Sofa Foods Europe is seeking a Production Operative to join a busy team in Fraserburgh, producing and packing fresh and frozen seafood to required quality and safety standards. The role involves preparing ingredients, feeding production lines, packing products, checking quality, and operating equipment. Full training is provided with opportunities to develop skills and progress within the company.

Pay: £12.90 per hour. Location: Fraserburgh. Working Pattern: Monday - Friday 2pm-10pm.

Qualifications

• Follow food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures.
• Prepare, process and pack pork products to specification.
• Check product quality, including size, weight and presentation.
• Operate equipment safely following training.
• Pack and label products accurately.
• Keep your work area clean and organised.
• Work to production targets and daily plans.
• Report any product, equipment or safety issues.

Your role could include preparing ingredients, feeding production lines, packing products, checking quality, operating equipment and keeping your area clean and safe. Full training is available, with opportunities to develop your skills and progress.

The Ideal Candidate

You’ll be reliable, practical and comfortable working as part of a busy production team. You’ll also need to:

• Follow food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures
• Prepare, process and pack pork products to specification
• Check product quality, including size, weight and presentation
• Operate equipment safely following training
• Pack and label products accurately
• Keep your work area clean and organised
• Work to production targets and daily plans
• Report any product, equipment or safety issues

Previous food manufacturing experience is useful but not essential as training will be provided.
