Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is recruiting for a Production Operative in Yeovil within a busy cosmetics manufacturing environment. You will work across production areas using hand tools and air tools to help manufacture products and maintain quality.

This role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, meet deadlines, follow H&S procedures, and support continuous improvement initiatives to optimise processes and reduce costs. Overtime on Saturdays is available.

Qualifications

• Previous knowledge or experience on factory production lines preferred.

Responsibilities

Production Operative

Location:Yeovil, BA22 7JJ
Hours:Mon – Thur 07:30 – 16:30, Fri 07:30 – 12:30
Overtime: Saturdays available

We are currently recruiting for Production / Manufacturing Operatives to join a busy cosmetics manufacturing environment.

You will be required to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating efficiency and commitment to completing tasks and achieving business performance targets. You will use hand tools and air tools to manufacture a variety of products across different production areas, maintaining the required level of efficiency whilst ensuring the expected quality standards are met.

Responsibilities:

• Adherence to H&S procedures and regulations.
• Operating and maintaining factory and equipment
• Assembling products using hand tools and equipment within production area.
• Inspecting and testing products to ensure that they meet specifications and requirements.
• Packaging and labelling products for delivery internally and externally.
• Collaborating with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimise production processes and improve efficiency.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations and reduce costs.

Requirements:

• Previous knowledge, experience of factory production lines e.g basic assembly and quality control or factory operative job role preferable.
• Knowledge of machinery, hand tools, equipment and materials used in production a plus.
