Job summary

Optima UK Inc Ltd in Leicestershire is seeking a Production Operative to join a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer. You will work in a cleanroom, fill products, weigh materials, and maintain traceability records while assisting with equipment cleaning and PPE laundry.

The role requires readiness to wear full PPE, strong maths and English, and the ability to prioritise tasks with minimal supervision. Shifts span days and potential late slots with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Experience in pharmaceutical or food manufacturing environment.
• Comfortable wearing full PPE.
• Good knowledge of GMP manufacturing environment.
• Able to prioritise workload.
• Able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision.
• Good maths and English is essential.

Working in a cleanroom environment, carrying out product filling, accurately measuring and weighing materials, completing traceability records, and assisting with equipment cleaning and PPE laundry.

About You

• The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a pharmaceutical of food manufacturing environment
• MUST be comfortable with wearing full PPE
• Have a good knowledge of and experience of working in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) manufacturing environment
• Able to prioritise workload
• Able to work on own initiative under minimal supervision
• Good maths and English is essential
