Job summary

Pertemps Crawley is recruiting for a Production Operative - Seasonal role on a food-processing site in the Petworth/Pulborough area. This full-time temporary position runs for about 2–3 weeks from mid-September, with pay £15.50/hour in the day and £17.00/hour at night.

Expect 45 hours per week with a mix of indoors and outdoors work and essential own transport to the locations. You will help keep production running by handling crates, moving and weighing pallets, cleaning the line and pallets,

Contract: Full-time, temporary (approx. 2-3 weeks from mid‑September)

Locations: Petworth or Pulborough - own transport essential

We're recruiting for our client's busy food‑processing site during peak harvest. You'll help keep production running smoothly by handling crates, moving and weighing fruit pallets, cleaning the press‑loading line, washing pallets and carrying out general cleaning and housekeeping duties. Work is both indoors and outdoors in all weather.

We're looking for reliable, physically fit people with a positive attitude, good attention to detail and the ability to work well in a team. You must be comfortable with manual work, long periods on your feet, and flexible with shifts.

Shifts & pay

• Day: 10:00-20:30 - £15.50/hour
• Night: 20:30-06:00 - £17.00/hour

Additional overtime may be available.
