Job summary

Mole Valley Farmers Limited in Lifton Mill is seeking a Production Operative to support day-to-day feed mill operations, ensuring products are manufactured, packed, and dispatched safely and efficiently. You will help maintain high standards and compliance within a fast-paced agricultural environment.

This is an excellent entry point with clear progression opportunities into roles such as LGV Driver or Production Planner, with on‑site training and a strong team ethos across the Mole Valley

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate mill equipment and process systems safely and efficiently.
• Manage weighbridge procedures and quality control.
• Operate bagging and packing systems and maintain records.
• Monitor stock levels and support stock control.
• Load vehicles and serve customers with accuracy and care.
• Support compliance audits and follow medicated procedures.
• Maintain clean, tidy work areas and report equipment issues.
• Collaborate with the team to meet production targets.

We’re looking for a reliable, hands‑on individual to join us as a Production Operative, playing a key role in delivering high‑quality service and support across our agricultural operations. About The Role

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full-time

Hours of Work: 44 hours working a weekly rotational day shift pattern and one in three Saturdays

As a Production Operative, you’ll be central to the day‑to‑day running of our feed mill operations. You’ll help ensure products are manufactured, packed, and dispatched safely and efficiently, while maintaining compliance with company standards and industry regulations.

This is a fantastic entry point into the business, with clear progression opportunities. Career paths can lead to roles such as LGV Driver, Production Planner, Engineer, or other positions across the wider Mole Valley Farmers group.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operating mill equipment and process systems safely and efficiently
• Managing weighbridge procedures and quality control
• Operating bagging and packing systems and maintaining accurate records

• Loading vehicles and serving customers with accuracy and care
• Supporting compliance audits and following medicated procedures

About You

• Experience in a production, manufacturing, or agricultural environment
• Basic mechanical understanding and ability to operate machinery

• A proactive, reliable, and team‑oriented approach
• Willingness to work shifts and adapt to changing priorities
• Forklift license preferred but not essential as training will be given to the right candidate.
