A great opportunity to join an expanding team of fabricators and welders with an established Engineering firm in the Bridgend area.
Initially as a general labourer, cleaning the rig and welding sections. The successful candidate will be taught to tack weld and to use the cleaning rig, cutting, finishing and to de-burr pipes. The rest of the duties will be moving stock around and assisting wherever required on a daily basis with general work. The salary will increase as and when the successful candidate is fully trained on a section/task and this uplift can potentially be quite quick - again depending on the candidate's ability to learn and develop in the role.
This opportunity is a great way of starting with the business from the ground level up. The successful candidate will need to have a great work ethic and a desire to progress and learn.
Hours of work will be Monday to Thursday 7.30am till 4pm and Friday 7.30am till 1pm. Overtime is time and a half and double on Sundays - plenty of it.
