We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Operative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks within the manufacturing process, ensuring that products are produced efficiently and to the highest quality standards. This position requires a proactive attitude and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment.
Responsibilities
Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment, ensuring optimal performance and quality output.
Perform routine inspections of machinery and products to identify any defects or issues.
Preferred experience of use of hand tools and power tools
Assist in the assembly process, following detailed instructions and adhering to safety protocols.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, following health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
Document production data accurately for reporting purposes.
Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge of manufacturing processes.
Requirements
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is advantageous but not essential.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective teamwork.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
Physical capability to lift moderate weights and stand for extended periods during shifts.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills.
Shifts will be on fixed afternoon shift Monday to Friday from 2.15pm - 10.15pm.
