Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd. is recruiting a Production Operator for our Manningtree site. This full-time, permanent role covers a 3-shift rotation: 6:00 AM–2:00 PM, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, and 10:00 PM–6:00 AM.

You will drive line operations to meet quality and delivery standards while maintaining safety and good manufacturing practices. The ideal candidate will have experience in food manufacturing, strong teamwork, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Promptly report hazards, near-misses, unsafe conditions or breaches to your supervisor

About the Role

We are a leading manufacturer looking for a motivated and driven

Production Operator to join our team in Manningtree.

In this role, you will be the driving force behind our production lines, ensuring our high-quality finished goods, bespoke mixes, and internal products are made to specification and delivered on time

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Line Operations:

Run production lines at optimum speed, ensuring all products are made to a high standard, while assisting with the assembly and packing of goods

Work closely with production planners, supervisors, and fellow operators to ensure schedules are met and training is up to date

Safety & Compliance:

Maintain strict compliance with Health & Safety directives and Food Regulations

Keep the production area clean and tidy, actively adhering to a "clean as you go" policy and assisting with site cleaning as required.

Quality Control:

Complete all required paperwork accurately and carry out timely Food Safety Quality Checks

Reporting:

Promptly report any hazards, near-misses, unsafe conditions, or procedural breaches to your supervisor or line manager

What We Are Looking For

Industry Knowledge:

Previous experience or strong knowledge of

Food Manufacturing

Communication:

Strong communication skills with the ability to build great working relationships within a team

Pace & Pressure:

The ability to work well under pressure, adapt to change, and meet time-critical deadlines within a fast-paced environment

A self-motivated individual who works excellently both with a team and without supervision

Safety Mindset:

A strong awareness of health and safety and how it affects your workplace

Desirable (But not essential):

Prior Manual Handling training

Basic computer skills
