Our client in Sittingbourne is seeking a Production Operative to join their developing team on a temporary to permanent basis. This role is physically demanding, involving lifting, moving and manoeuvring stock daily, with rotating early/late shifts and occasional weekend work.

You will handle general duties, inspect stock, maintain clean work areas, and follow production schedules while working around heavy machinery. Training and PPE are provided to support health and safety at all times.

Formación

• Ability to work as a team member or on your own with safety in mind.
• Reliable and punctual with good timekeeping.
• Willingness to learn on the job and stay motivated.
• Demonstrates health and safety awareness around machinery.
• Experience in a similar production role is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• General physical duties, lifting, shifting and manoeuvring stock daily.
• Inspect stock for defects and report faults as needed.
• Keep machines and work areas clean and carry out basic checks.
• May work in inside or outside environment depending on section.
• Follow production schedules and work instructions, ensuring safe operation around heavy machinery.
• Check machine set-up dimensions align with product specs.

Our client in Sittingbourne, is currently looking for a Production Operative to join their developing team on a temporary to permanent basis. Please note this is an extremely physical role, where you will be required to lift, move and manoeuvre stock on a daily basis.

Salary and Benefits:

• Monday to Friday
• 05:30 - 14:00 and 14:00 - 22:30 (rotating shifts each week with occasional weekend work)
• Weekly pay
• Full training and PPE is provided

The role:

• General physical duties, lifting, shifting and manoeuvring stock on a daily basis
• Inspecting stock for any defects
• Keeping machines and work areas clean, carrying out basic checks, and reporting faults.
• Working in an inside/outside environment depending on the section
• Following production schedules and work instructions
• Working safely around heavy machinery
• Checking machine set-up dimensions are aligned with product specifications

• Ability to always work as a team member and on your own ensuring health & safety compliance
• Good timekeeping/reliable
• Willingness to learn on the job
• Self-motivation
• Experience in a similar role is essential
