Ibstock Plc is recruiting a Production Operative for our Anstone factory in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. The role requires experience with concrete block press operations or machine setting and involves 42 hours per week on a 4 days on / 4 days off rotating shift pattern.

You will work within a dedicated team, ensuring high safety and quality standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Full-time permanent position with strong career progression opportunities.

To support our progress, we are currently recruiting for a Production Operative who has experience with a concrete block press or machine setting to come and join our team at our Anstone factory in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.

42 Hours per week - 6am-6pm / 6pm-6am
Shift pattern - 4 days on. 4 days off. Rotating between days and nights

Key responsibilities:

• Ability to take ownership of the role
• Hands on Cleaning of machinery and plant
• Ability to rotor and prioritise your own workload
• Operation of mobile plant as required
• Greasing and oiling of production plant
• Adhering to health & safety, quality and environmental systems
• To deliver through the process improvement initiatives and continuous improvementAssist with production when required
• Creating and maintaining the highest standards of 5S’s housekeeping and environmental management
• Assist in the development of SSOP’s and Risk Assessments
• Excellent timekeeping, attendance and flexibility
• Self-motivated
• Numerate & literate.
• Team working attitude.
• Ability to also work alone.
• High degree of Health & Safety awareness.
• Ability to work as part of a team or on your own.
• Ability to learn to operate key manufacturing and mobile plant.
• Willingness to undergo further training and development
• .Previous labour intensive role
• Experience of working in a continuous improvement environment.
• A certified counterbalance FLT driver is advantageous
• .Experience with a concrete block press or machine setting background
