Job summary

Brightwork Ltd is recruiting a Production Operative for a world-leading salmon processing facility in Rosyth, near Dunfermline. This is a full-time role with a fixed shift pattern and pay rates of £13.20–£19.80 per hour, with paid overtime.

You will work on a production line to prepare salmon to customer specifications, perform basic testing and quality checks, and ensure products are packaged correctly for shipment. Full training is provided and opportunities for career progression exist.

Brightwork has a fantastic opportunity to work as a Production Operative for A world-leading salmon production facility at Rosyth, near Dunfermline.

The rate of pay is £13.20 per hour.

Overtime is available and is paid at £19.80 per hour.

This is a full-time role. Available shift is: 06.00am - 18.30pm on a 2-2-3 pattern, (Monday and Tuesday working, off Wednesday and Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday working. Week 2, Off Monday and Tuesday, working Wednesday and Thursday and off Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).

Your Time at Work

As a Production Operative, you will be working on a line to prepare salmon to customer specifications. Other duties include:

• Monitoring the production process and carrying out basic testing and quality checks
• The finished product will also need to be packaged correctly ready for shipment.

Full training will be provided, and you will have the opportunity to learn from highly experienced individuals.

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect Production Operative will have great coordination and dexterity to prepare the salmon efficiently and at a pace. You will also:

• Have an eye for detail and work well as part of a large team.
• Have patience and the ability to work well under pressure are essential.
• Have a certain level of fitness due to manual handling and the nature of the role.

Experience as a Production Operative, Warehouse or a Factory Operative is desirable, however, full training will be provided.
