Gi Group UK is seeking a Production Operative in Portsmouth to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role involves operating moulding machines, maintaining quality, and supporting stock checks across two client sites. Full training is provided and no prior production experience is required, though beneficial.

The position offers Monday-Friday hours, a 10% PureGym discount, and weekly pay. This is a temp ongoing assignment with consistent daytime shifts.

Responsabilidades

• Operate moulding machines safely per SOPs/instructions.
• Monitor output and quality; meet production targets and cycle times.
• Record parts into the system with traceability.
• Report faults, downtime and quality issues promptly to the Setting Team.
• Maintain 5S/housekeeping, quality standards and PPE compliance.
• Complete stock checks as required.
• Travel between two client sites as required.
• Undertake other tasks as directed by the Moulding Manager/Setting Supervisor.

We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Production Operative to join a well-established company in Portsmouth.

The company is a supply chain, logistics and manufacturing partner that supports organisations across a range of sectors, including automotive, rail, healthcare and general industrial.

This role is ideal for reliable, hands‑on individuals who are comfortable working in a fast‑paced production environment. Full training is provided, and no previous production experience is required, although it is beneficial.

Production Operative - Key responsibilities

• Operate moulding machines safely to work instructions/SOPs.
• Monitor output and quality; meet production targets and cycle times.
• Book all parts accurately into the system (traceability).
• Report faults, downtime and quality issues promptly to the Setting Team.
• Maintain 5S/housekeeping, quality standards and correct PPE compliance.
• Complete stock checks as required.
• Travel between two of our clients sites as required.
• Undertake other tasks as directed by the Moulding Manager/Setting Supervisor.
