Job summary

JDR Recruitment is seeking a Production Operative to join a fast-paced manufacturing team in Pleasley Vale. You will handle finished components, perform visual quality checks, assemble products, and prepare items for dispatch.

The role requires reliable, detail-oriented individuals who can follow work instructions, stand for long periods, and work as part of a team. Weekly pay at £12.71 per hour is provided. Hours: Mon-Thu 06:00-14:10, Fri 06:00-12:00, with potential overtime.

JDR recruitment are looking for a reliable and hardworking Production Operative to join our long standing clients team. This role is focused on the final stages of the manufacturing process, ensuring products are assembled, packed, and prepared accurately to meet customer requirements and quality standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling finished components, carrying out visual quality checks, assembling products, and packing orders for dispatch in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Product Handling

• Collect finished plastic products following the cutting process.
• Safely handle and move materials within the production area.
• Carry out visual inspections to identify defects, damage, or inconsistencies.
• Ensure products meet quality standards before further processing

Packing & Order Fulfilment

• Pack finished products into boxes, bags, or other packaging as required.
• Ensure correct quantities, configurations, and labels are applied to customer orders.
• Complete production and order documentation accurately.
• Prepare products for storage or dispatch.

Skills & Experience
