Production Operative

Temporary to Permanent

Outskirts of Newark

£13.18ph

Immediate Start

Rotating Shift - 6am - 2.30pm, 2pm - 10.30pm and 10pm - 6.30am

Our semi-rural manufacturing client, due to the growth of the business is seeking a Production Operative to join their busy team on a temporary basis.

Owner/Driver essential due to location.

Main Responsibilities:

• Operate the bagging and drying equipment safely and efficiently, fault find basic problems and carry out preventative maintenance and daily checks to ensure the factory keeps running.

• Using a forklift to load our product onto a variety of customer vehicles.

• Some manual handling is also required; so physical fitness is a must.

Skills Required:

• A forklift license is an advantage but not essential.

• You will need a good standard of written and spoken English and the ability to use a computer for basic tasks.

• Leadership qualities and a desire to progress.

Personal Attributes:

• You must be punctual and have a responsible, can-do attitude.

• You will be expected to use your initiative, undergo training and to work hard in support of a very busy team.
