PRODUCTION OPERATIVE - MIDDLETON, MANCHESTER - £26,000 PER ANNUM
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join our well-established client based in Middleton, Manchester on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established manufacturing business within their Research & Development team, offering £26,000 per annum, Monday to Friday day shifts and excellent training and development opportunities.
£26,000 PER ANNUM | MONDAY TO FRIDAY | DAY SHIFTS | PERMANENT POSITION | TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT
This role would suit candidates with experience as a Production Operative, Laboratory Technician, Lab Assistant, R&D Technician, Technical Assistant, Sample Technician, Quality Laboratory Technician or Laboratory Production Operator.

Day-to-Day Duties
- Producing customer samples and internal development materials accurately and effectively
- Supporting Development Technologists with internal and customer projects
- Manufacturing samples for live customer enquiries
- Carrying out laboratory testing and analysis
- Supporting raw material analysis and development work
- Assisting with sample production, testing and technical activities
- Recording results and producing reports on work completed
- Using laboratory sample and IT systems
- Supporting the R&D team with day-to-day technical requirements
- Helping to improve materials, procedures and processes
- Troubleshooting problems and helping to identify suitable solutions
- Working in line with company Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality procedures
Essential Skills
- Strong attention to detail and a diligent approach to your work
- Good written and verbal communication skillsGood time management and the ability to work to deadlines
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to remain calm and organised when priorities change
