Job summary

KHR - Recruitment Specialists in Kent are assisting a leading bespoke manufacturer in Marden to recruit a Production Operative. You will join a small team, supporting all stages of the manufacturing process and helping to ensure products are produced safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

This full-time role is Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, with a salary of £26,000–£30,000 per annum. Benefits include 31 days holiday, pension, regular salary reviews, and training and development

• Experience in manufacturing/production preferred.
• Practical, hands-on approach.
• Good attention to detail.
• Reliable and organised.
• Driver preferred due to location.

• Preparing materials and production areas.

• Monitoring stock and reporting shortages.
• Preparing and packing customer orders.
• Supporting general production and internal projects.
• Stock counting and record-keeping.
• Operating a counterbalance forklift.

Production Operative

KHR are currently working with a leading bespoke manufacturer based in Marden s who are looking to add another member to their specialised production team.

The Production Operative will join a small team supporting all aspects of the manufacturing process, ensuring products are produced efficiently, safely, and to the required quality standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Preparing materials and production areas
• Mixing, packing and finishing products
• Monitoring stock and reporting shortages
• Preparing and packing customer orders
• Supporting general production and internal projects
• Stock counting and record-keeping
• Operating a counterbalance forklift

Candidate Profile

• Previous manufacturing/production experience preferred
• Practical, hands-on approach
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable and organised
• Forklift experience advantageous, but training can be provided
• Driver preferred due to location
