Job summary

Adecco is recruiting a Production Operative for a role based in the UK. You will operate and monitor machinery to convert large rolls into smaller sizes, ensuring targets, quality and safety standards are met.

Shifts run on rotation with early and late options; weekly pay and full training provided. Opportunity for long-term temporary employment via Adecco, with a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (preferred).
• Experience operating machinery (slitting experience desirable but not essential).
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job description

Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit reliable and motivated Production Operatives to join our key Department.

Role Overview

As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for operating operating machinery to convert large rolls of material into smaller, customer-specific sizes. You will play a key role in ensuring production targets, quality standards, and health & safety requirements are consistently met.

£13 - £13.50 per hour

Monday to Friday

shifts on rotation

6am - 2pm

8am - 4pm

2pm - 10pm

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor slitting machines safely and efficiently
• Set up machinery according to job specifications
• Measure, cut, and rewind materials
• Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet required standards
• Record production data accurately
• Identify and report faults, defects, or machine issues
• Maintain a clean and organised work area
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures at all times
