Job summary

Plexus Corp. is hiring Production Operatives in Livingston for a stable, high-tech manufacturing role. You will join an electronics assembly team in a cleanroom environment, with clear paths for progression to roles such as Senior Operative or Team Leader.

We provide training and cover costs, with above-minimum base pay, shift premiums, and paid overtime. This full-time position offers a day shift with opportunity for overtime and career development.

Qualifications

• Good hand-eye coordination and strong attention to detail.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Comfort working in full cleanroom protective wear and PPE.
• Flexibility to work shift patterns with enhanced pay rates.
• Previous factory/assembly/warehouse experience is a bonus but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and clean electronic components using standard cleaning solvents prior to assembly.
• Assembly of medium to complex sub-assemblies using basic hand tools and instructions.
• Work safely inside a cleanroom environment with required PPE.
• Perform basic quality checks on completed electronics before dispatch.
• Maintain simple digital logs of completed work.

What You’ll Do

• Assemble Medium to Complex sub assemblies using basic hand tools and step-by-step instructions.
• Work safely inside a sterile cleanroom environment (wearing standard gowning, specialised headwear, and shoe covers).
• Perform basic quality checks on completed electronics before dispatch.
• Maintain simple digital logs of completed work.

What We’re Looking For

• Good hand-eye coordination and strong attention to detail.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Comfort working in full cleanroom protective wear and handling standard cleaning solutions (full PPE provided).
• Flexibility to work shift patterns when required (supported by enhanced pay rates).
• (Previous factory, assembly, or warehouse experience is a bonus, but not essential as full training will be provided!)
