Job summary

DC Personnel Ltd is seeking a Production Operative for a well-established manufacturing client in Rugby. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, with hours from 08:30–17:00 (Fri until 16:00), total 36.5 hours per week.

Pay is £12.71 per hour, based in Rugby, with a clean, temperature-controlled working environment. You will seal and label products, pack items for dispatch, and ensure packaging meets quality standards while adhering to hygiene and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience in packing or quality control preferred.
• Able to follow health & safety procedures and SOPs.
• Reliable with good attention to detail.
• Comfortable working independently or in small teams.
• Willing to operate semi-automatic machinery (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Seal and label finished products.
• Pack items into boxes ready for dispatch.
• Ensure packaging is clean and meets quality standards.
• Work in a clean, temperature-controlled area.
• Follow strict hygiene and safety protocols.
• Dispense and dispatch products following SOPs.
• Pick stock accurately based on orders.
• Replenish stock and check inventory levels.
• Process returns and assist with stock control.
• Conduct regular date checks to ensure stock rotation.

Location: Rugby

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

Contract Type: Full time Monday to Friday

Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:30 – 17:00 & Friday: 08:30 – 16:00

Total: 36.5 hours per week paid

You will :

• Seal and label finished products

General Responsibilities :

• Dispensing and dispatching products following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Picking stock accurately based on order requirements
• Replenishing stock and checking inventory levels
• Processing returns and assisting with stock control
• Conducting regular date checks to ensure proper stock rotation

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in packing or quality control is preferred
• Comfortable working independently or in small teams
