Job summary

Greencore Group Lts in Leeds is seeking a Production Operative on a 4 on 4 off rotating shift (7am–7pm and 7pm–7am). The role requires you to help deliver products on time and to quality standards on a busy production line.

The ideal candidate will have good literacy/numeracy, problem solving and teamwork skills, with allergen awareness. Experience in food manufacturing and Level 2 Food Safety are advantageous.

Responsibilities

Deliver the product within time, quantity and quality parameters.
Ensure continuous operation of the line through support of all team members.
Comply with all standard operating procedures to ensure customer orders are produced safely, on time, and all aspects of hygiene, quality and cost are met.
Raise issues with Senior Production Operative, when identified.
Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices and support our Food Safety culture.

Pay Rate:

£12.95 per hour

What you’ll be doing

In this position you will provide a quality presence on the production line, ensuring scheduled checks are carried out in accordance with quality standards, line set up and equipment set up. Key accountabilities in this role include:

To deliver the product within time, quantity and quality parameters.
To ensure continuous operation of the line through support of all team members.
To comply with all standard operating procedures to ensure customer orders are produced safely, on time, and all aspects of hygiene, quality and cost are met.
To raise issues with Senior Production Operative, when identified.
To ensure Good Manufacturing Practices
Support our Food Safety culture.
