Job summary

Gi Group Ireland Limited is recruiting a Production Operative to join a leading nationwide supplier of diesel and HVO fuels in Harlow. You will play a key role in day-to-day production operations.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm with a 30-minute unpaid break and a 10-minute morning break. Pay is £12.71 per hour, rising to £29,000 per year if made permanent.

Qualifications

• Physical fitness: Able to carry out manual labour (tank cleaning can be highly physical).
• Safety compliance: Strong understanding of health & safety requirements, particularly around flammable/hazardous materials.
• Attention to detail: Accurate with paperwork/data logs and able to follow SOPs precisely.

Responsibilities

• Fuel management: Safely handle, process, and transfer fuels, biofuels, and related liquids.
• Quality & safety checks: Carry out standard quality, environmental and safety checks from start to finish.
• Machine operation: Safely operate, monitor, and maintain production/manufacturing machinery and equipment.
• Production Line: Filling a bag in a box product, sealing and shrink wrapping, loading on to pallet ready for dispatch.

Location: Harlow, Essex

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm (30 minute unpaid break and 10 minute AM break)

Pay: £12.71 per hour (annual salary increasing to £29,000 per annum if taken permanent)
