Job summary

Stafflex is recruiting a Production Operative in Halifax to support a busy logistics and manufacturing operation. The role combines forklift and warehouse duties in a hands-on environment with early starts.

Hourly rate is £13.06 with a Monday-Thursday shift pattern and potential overtime; candidates should be flexible to extend shifts as required and contribute to a safe, efficient team. Halifax location, temporary contract.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehousing/logistics environments.
• Willingness to work overtime and 12-hour shifts when required.
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• A driving license and access to transport is highly desirable due to the location and shift times.

Responsibilities

• Operating machines safely and efficiently
• Moving work in progress and materials around site
• Supplying production lines with materials and packaging
• Packing finished goods ready for despatch, including wrapping and labelling
• Loading finished goods onto vehicles for despatch
• Maintaining a high standard of warehouse housekeeping
• Supporting colleagues and working as part of a wider team
• Working independently when required
• Assisting with training and becoming multi-skilled across the department

Production Operative
Location: Halifax
Hourly Rate: £13.06 p/h
Working Hours: Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 3:30pm (Overtime currently available, flexibility to work up to 12-hour shifts is required)
Contract Type: Temporary

Stafflex are currently recruiting for a production operative to join a busy logistics and manufacturing operation in Halifax. This is a hands on role that is split between forklift and warehouse duties. We're looking for someone reliable, flexible and happy to get involved across the logistics operation.

• Operating machines safely and efficiently
