Manpower is seeking flexible Machine Operators to join a leading food manufacturer in Barnwood, Gloucester. Start during the first week of January 2027 on an on-going contract with strong temp-to-perm opportunities.

Pay ranges from £14.11 to £33.60 per hour, with progression to £36.95 per hour based on performance and development. You'll operate various machinery on a fast-moving production line, pack finished products, and ensure quality and hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Eye for detail to ensure accuracy and precision.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of machinery producing units of packed products.
• Pack finished products on the end of the line and complete required paperwork.
• Maintain high quality standards throughout production.
• Keep hygiene standards in line with policy and procedure.
• Communicate issues promptly to supervisors.
• Follow all company and client procedures and safety policies.
• Work in a flexible and organized manner; mentor others as needed.

Job description

A leading food manufacturer is looking for flexible Machine Operators, to join its team ahead of the busy 2027 season.

Successful candidates will start during the first week of January 2027 and work on a production line at a modern, highly automated, and hygienic manufacturing facility based in Barnwood, Gloucester.

PAY: Paying from £14.11 to £33.60 per hour, with opportunities to progress to up to £36.95 per hour based on performance, training, and role progression.

SHIFTS: Various shifts available but preferably you will be able to work all or some weekends
The contract is on-going with strong temp to perm opportunities.

What You Will Be Doing:

• To operate a variety of machinery producing units of packed products.
• Pack finished products on the end of the line ready to send through to distribution whilst completing all paperwork.
• To ensure a high standard of quality is maintained throughout the production process.
• To maintain excellent hygiene standards in line with Company/ Client procedure.
• To communicate any issues as they arise.
• To follow all Company and Client procedures.
• To adhere to Health and Safety standards.
• To work in a flexible and organised manner.
• Training, coaching and mentoring of any other team members.
• To carry out any other duties as reasonably requested by your supervisor or Manager.
• To understand and comply with the Company's Health and Safety Policy Statement.
