Job summary

Pro-Found Recruitment are recruiting for a Production Operative role for our client based in Doncaster. The role operates on static days from Monday to Thursday (Fridays off), 6am to 4.20pm, with a start ASAP at DN12.

There is potential for temporary to permanent status after 12 weeks based on performance and attendance. The job involves working in the AGC department, operating and loading machinery, and ensuring safe operation while following SOPs.

Qualifications

• Production/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Machine operating experience preferred.
• Hard working, reliable and punctual.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and guidelines.
• Good with metric measurements.
• Ability to perform manual labour for extended periods.
• Health and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Working in the AGC department.
• Operating and loading machinery.
• Ensure the safe operation of machinery within the area of responsibility.
• Work in accordance with Company SOPs and guidelines.
• Read and assess production information for required specification details.
• Interpret instructions in various formats (written, verbal, diagrammatic, schedule).
• Using tools and equipment such as Brick saws.
• Quality control and checking of materials and finished products.
• General housekeeping.
• Wear and maintain personal protective equipment.
• Mixing, measuring and cutting products.
• Working on your own and as part of a team.

Benefits

• Shifts/Hours: Static Days - Monday to Thursday (Fridays off) - 6am to 4.20pm - please do not apply if you cannot get to DN12 for a 6am start
• Start date: ASAP
• Pay Rates: £12.71 per hour
• Contract: Potential of temporary to Permanent after 12 weeks - based on performance, attendance and client requirement
• Location: Doncaster, DN12

Responsibilities

• Working in the AGC department
• Operating and loading machinery
• Ensure the safe operation of machinery within the area of responsibility.
• Work in accordance with Company standard operating procedures and guidelines
• Read and assess production information for required specification details, working in an organised manner to ensure the task is completed efficiently, to the correct standard and within the necessary time frame
• Interpret a variety of instructions in various formats - written, verbal, diagrammatic, or schedule form
• Using tools and equipment such as Brick saw's
• Quality control and checking of materials and finished products
• General housekeeping
• Wear and always maintain personal protective equipment
• Mixing, measuring and cutting products
• Working on your own and as part of a team
