Job summary

Reed is seeking a Production Operative in Daventry for a full-time role within a busy manufacturing and warehouse environment. You will be hands-on with day-to-day manufacturing tasks, ensuring safe, efficient production and quality standards while meeting daily targets.

Responsibilities include handling and processing products, following health and safety procedures, operating Navision and Excel, and assisting in stock movements and dispatch labelling.

• Previous production or warehouse experience desirable (training provided).
• Good attention to detail and reliability.
• Willingness to learn and follow processes.

Join a dynamic manufacturing team as a Production Operative. This hands-on role involves day-to-day manufacturing and warehouse operations, ensuring safe, efficient production while meeting quality standards and daily targets.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Handle, assemble, and process products within manufacturing and production processes.
• Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures, policies, and risk assessments.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within production areas.
• Operate computer systems including Navision, Excel, and Windows.
• Follow material requisition orders and production schedules.
• Carry out chemical wash, cleaning, packing, and overflow production tasks.
• Undertake stud welding and spot-welding operations once trained.
• Accurately select, label, and prepare products for dispatch.
• Update basic production, damage, and scrap records.
• Meet daily production targets and deadlines.
• Support stock movements, dispatch documentation, and courier labelling.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Assist in other warehouse areas as operational needs require.
