Job summary

Marshalls PLC is seeking a Production Operative in Burton-on-Trent to operate manual and semi-automated machinery and, where qualified, forklift trucks. You will move materials and finished products around the site and assist with general site upkeep to maintain safety and efficiency.

The role offers a competitive annual salary of £34,170 plus benefits and a Monday–Friday shift pattern, with a double shift option on Week 1 and Week 2.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, production, or industrial environments.
• Experience with semi-automated machinery (desirable).
• Current FLT licence (preferred).
• Commitment to health, safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of manual and semi-automated machinery and use hand-powered tools.
• Where qualified, operate Forklift Trucks to move materials and finished products.
• Support the wider team with housekeeping, cleaning, painting and maintenance tasks.
• Contribute to a safe and efficient working environment.

Shifts: Monday - Friday (45 hours per week) / Double Shift - Week 1 - 5:30am to 2:30pm / Week 2 - 2:30pm - 11:30pm

So, what's the mission?

You'll operate a variety of manual and semi-automated machinery, use hand-powered tools, and, where qualified, operate mobile plant such as Forklift Trucks to move materials and finished products safely around the site. You'll also support the wider team with general site upkeep, including housekeeping, cleaning, painting, and other maintenance tasks to help maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
