Job summary

Time Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking production workers for a major snack food provider in Bolton. You will work on production lines, feed machines, pack finished products, perform quality checks and prepare items for despatch. Some lifting of up to 20kg is required, with various shift patterns available.

Ideal candidates will have food manufacturing experience, good communication skills, and be able to arrive at Westhoughton for early shifts. Safety boots and hi-vis are mandatory on site.

Job description

Are you looking for an excellent production role that will offer long term contracts for the right candidate?

My client is a major snack food provider is looking to recruit and number of production workers to join their team. As a production worker you will be expected to carry out duties such as working on production lines, feeding machines, packing on lines, conduct quality control and boxing and preparing the finished product ready for despatch to their customers.

There will be some physical aspects to this role, candidates my have to lift products up to 20kg.

Candidates will ideally have previous production experience in a food manufacturing site and will have a good level of communications skills. Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 06:00 -14:00 or 14:00 - 22:00 or Monday to Thursday 22:00 to 06:00. or Monday to Friday 12:00 - 20:00.

Over time will be available depending on business needs, candidates are advised, they must be able to get to Westhoughton for 06:00 and home after 22:00 as there are restrictions with public transport for the shift start times and finish.

Candidates should have experience working within a food manufacturing environment. Risk assessment and induction to be carried out by client first day of assignment.

Smoking is permitted in the designated areas outside the building before work, during LUNCH breaks and after work.

If factory overalls are provided/worn they must be removed whilst smoking.

Candidates must have safety boots and hi/vis

£11.75 Per Hour - Day Shift

£12.75 Per hour - Night Shift – Weekly Pay
