General Responsibilities

• Hours - Monday - Friday - 06.00-18.00
• Responsible for tasks within production such as packaging, machinery operation and cleaning, quality checks, good housekeeping, and basic machine maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Professionally pack food products into bags and tubs.
• Accurately document production runs.
• Maintain cleanliness and perform machinery clean downs.
• Update the production supervisor on consumables and base product reordering.
• Ensure safe stacking of palletised goods and professional packaging.
• Perform stock movements as directed.
• Conduct basic machine maintenance.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards.

Person Specification

• Basic understanding of Excel, some engineering knowledge, and metal detection in a food environment.
• Willing to undertake additional training such as team building and production courses.

Qualifications

Essential

• No formal qualifications required.
• Good time management, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic hygiene and housekeeping knowledge.

Desirable (not essential)

• Level 2 in food hygiene.
• One year experience in food production.
