Job description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team in a manufacturing environment. The role involves maintaining and managing data, utilizing production fixtures, conducting quality inspections, reading drawings, and ensuring compliance with quality procedures.

Working Hours:

39 hours per week on alternating shifts: 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain and update data accurately in the system.
2. Use production fixtures to manufacture products.
3. Conduct inspections using fixtures and gauges to meet quality standards.
4. Apply visual inspection methods competently.
5. Follow and refer to established quality procedures.
6. Read and interpret technical drawings for manufacturing.
7. Manage strategic consumable inventory within the work area.
8. Participate in regular quality meetings.
9. Report production issues promptly.
10. Implement workload assignments from the line manager.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Ability to refer to and follow quality procedures.
• Experience in machining and fabrication processes.
• Proficient in reading technical drawings.
• Familiar with NCR (Non-Conformance Report) processes.

Security Clearance: BPSS clearance required.
