Production Operative

Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Milton team as a Production Operative.

This role involves overseeing operations within a production environment manufacturing concrete building blocks for both commercial and domestic markets.

You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all plant and equipment, with training provided on various processes including batching, manufacturing, packaging, and mobile plant operation.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Health & Safety: Maintain high safety standards, adhere to safety protocols, report concerns, and ensure PPE and equipment are well maintained.
• Quality Systems: Complete process control sheets, adhere to quality standards, and contribute to sustainability efforts.

About You:

• Good communication and organizational skills
• Willingness to be trained in machinery operation
• Awareness of health and safety legislation
• Ability to manage varied workloads and problem solve
• Teamwork and initiative
• Literacy and Numeracy at GCSE level or equivalent
• Factory experience is advantageous
