Safran – Here, we craft excellence together. We are seeking a Production & Operations Manager - OEM to lead OE Production, Operations & Test, aligning to business strategy and performance targets. Pitstone, Bucks, UK-based role within Safran Electrical & Power.

You will drive end-to-end production excellence, optimise inventory, and engage teams to deliver on time and with quality, while steering continuous improvement and stakeholder alignment across functions.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Operations and/or Production & Supply Chain management, with leadership responsibility.
• Demonstrated track record of achieving delivery, financial performance, customer satisfaction & sales targets Aerospace Operations knowledge.
• Continuous Improvement mindset with ability to drive efficiency, performance and cost effectiveness.
• Program/project management experience and methodologies (costs, deadlines, quality, risks).
• Track record of leading and motivating teams to achieve goals.
• Strong leadership of change management and transformation with a coaching approach.
• Part 21G experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead OE Operations Function, of roughly 100 employees, driving a culture of high engagement.
• Drive Customer Satisfaction with KPI's: OTD, OQD and Notification of Escape.
• Lead Internal and External Audits (Customers, AS9100, etc.).
• Define roadmaps to deliver End to End OTD >95% for OE and quality under 250ppm.
• Align purchasing with internal production activities.
• Drive efficiency and productivity of resources across Operations.

Your Role

The Production & Operations Manager - OEM is a senior role within the business where you'll lead OE Production, Operations & Test departments, ensuring that the business strategy is deployed, and business performance targets are achieved.

You'll develop, reinforce and align between stakeholders and internal production activities to optimize inventory, improve business performance and stimulate employee engagement.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead OE Operations Function, of roughly 100 employees, driving culture of high engagement
• Customer Satisfaction with the following KPI's: OTD, OQD and Notification of Escape
• Internal and External Audits (Customers, AS9100, etc.)
• Define roadmap to deliver End to End OTD greater than 95 per cent for OE and quality under 250ppm
• Ensure and optimise alignment between purchasing and internal production activities
• Drive maximum efficiency and optimised productivity of resources across Operations through continuous monitoring of OTD, OQD and people engagement
• Motivate and lead employees in organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling to ensure that desired results are achieved in day-to-day operations and in meeting mid-to long term strategic goals; financial plan (sales, margin, free cash flow) and customer satisfaction
• Ownership for OE Operations review of S&OP efficiency to deliver business and financial performance
• Integrates appropriate quality control methods into Operations
