Job summary

HRGO Recruitment is seeking a Production MIG Welder in Eye, Suffolk for a 4‑day week with long weekends.

Join a busy manufacturing team welding components for medical equipment, reading CAD drawings, and working to tight tolerances with jigs/fixtures. Pay from £15.50 to £16.00 per hour DOE, overtime rate time and a third, and a supportive, quality‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year's MIG welding experience in a production environment.
• Experience welding using jigs/fixtures.

Responsibilities

• MIG weld components using jigs/fixtures to required tolerances and standards.
• Read and follow CAD drawings and work instructions.
• Carry out basic visual inspection of welds, reporting defects and supporting rework as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised workstation.
• Work to production targets while maintaining quality.

• Location: Eye, Suffolk - Own transport recommended due to rural location
• 4-Day Week | Monday-Thursday | 38 hours | 7:00am-5:00pm
• Pay from £15.50 - £16.00 per hour, DOE
• Overtime Rate at Time and a Third

The role:

We are recruiting a Production MIG Welder to join a busy manufacturing team producing welded components for medical equipment. This is a production-focused position, ideal for someone experienced in MIG welding with jigs/fixtures and confident reading CAD drawings to work to consistent quality standards.

Key responsibilities:

• MIG weld components using jigs/fixtures to required tolerances and standards
• Read and follow CAD drawings and work instructions
• Carry out basic visual inspection of welds, reporting defects and supporting rework as needed

Essential requirements:
