Job summary

Wagstaff Recruitment is seeking an experienced Production Manager in Kettering to lead manufacturing operations. The role requires hands-on leadership of a production team, a focus on productivity, quality, and continuous improvement, and collaboration with engineering and OEMs to maximise machine performance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in production management, strong KPI monitoring, and CI experience in blown film extrusion. On-site role with UK standard hours and competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in blown film extrusion.
• 5+ years of production management experience.
• Strong KPI monitoring and performance management experience.
• CI knowledge (Lean, 5S, Six Sigma or similar).
• Experience training, developing and coaching production teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Team Leaders and Operators across shift.
• Drive performance through KPI monitoring, reporting and CI initiatives.
• Review and update SOPs, training plans and operator competency standards.
• Work closely with Engineering and OEMs to maximise machine performance and reliability.
• Support raw material planning and ordering, including polymers and blends.
• Ensure compliance with Quality, Health, Safety and environmental standards across production.

Our client is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations and drive performance across the production team. This hands-on role requires strong leadership skills and experience within blown film extrusion, with a focus on productivity, quality, continuous improvement and team.

Roles/Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Team Leaders and Operators across shift.
• Drive performance through KPI monitoring, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You
