Ernest Gordon Recruitment is assisting a Newcastle-based engineering business to recruit a Production Manager. You will lead all production teams, drive LEAN initiatives, and report to the Managing Director. The role operates Monday to Friday, 7am–4:30pm, in a dynamic environment with scope to progress to director-level roles.

The company offers a competitive salary of £45,000–£55,000, plus progression to director, training, bonus, and additional company benefits.

Are you a Production Manager from an Engineering background or similar looking to become the go to technical expert within an industry leading business offering clear scope to progress into director level roles in the future?

In this pivotal role you will be responsible for all production teams within a dynamic and vibrant shopfloor. You will be working towards LEAN Manufacturing and have the autonomy to make decisions to positively affect the overall manufacturing and production across the company.

Founded over 80 years ago, this industry leading business specialises in a range of industrial door solutions. Covering multiple industries such as fire, security and roller doors they aim to be a one stop solution. From the initial design concept of the product, the manufacturing along with the final installation.

This role would suit a Production Manager from an Engineering background or similar looking to become a technical expert within a progressive business.
