Job summary

Raytheon UK in Glenrothes is seeking a Production Manager to lead a cross‑functional manufacturing team focused on electronics and electro‑mechanical products. You will manage Supervisors, Associates and Engineers, ensuring delivery performance, quality, safety and cost objectives on-site at Glenrothes (with potential support at Livingston).

You will drive process improvements using RTX CORE principles, lead safety initiatives and develop the team in a fast‑paced environment that values

Qualifications

• Relevant years’ experience in a Production Management, Manufacturing Engineering or Manufacturing Operations related role.
• Qualified to Degree or Diploma level in a Manufacturing Engineering or Manufacturing Operations related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Control Account Manager (CAM) for the Manufacturing function.
• Control of touch labour Hours Per Unit, and other manufacturing budgets.
• Development and execution of production plans to achieve customer on-time delivery.
• Management of high mix, and frequently changing priorities using Lean Manufacturing concepts.
• Employee Performance Development.
• Ownership of all safety procedures.
• Driver of process and quality improvements utilising RTX CORE (Customer Oriented Results & Excellence)
