Production Manager

Location: Worcestershire (commutable from Kidderminster, Bromsgrove, Droitwich, Bromyard, Ludlow areas)

Job Purpose:

• Management of a high volume complex manufacturing process overseeing day-to-day operations against H&S, QCD performance metrics
• Develop and grow your direct reports and the team around you to build a positive and nurturing environment
• Implementation and review of Standard Operating Procedures/KPIs across your department
• Manage and mentor a diverse team, fostering engagement and professional growth
• Driving a strong culture of Health & Safety on site
• Leading and driving Continuous Improvement activities

Experience required:

You will already be an experienced Production Manager, Production Supervisor, or Shift Manager working within a fast-paced volume manufacturing environment and seeking your next career step with an expanding and successful organisation.

• Experience of leading teams in high volume/large batch production pressurised manufacturing environment
• Experience of coaching and mentoring a strong team
• Able to plan and organise manning, materials, and production in a busy environment with excellent management, prioritisation, and organisational skills
• Assertive, independent, and self-sufficient with the ability to cope effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
• Ability to drive performance against KPIs
• Management or supervisory qualifications: ILM, NVQ4, HNC, Degree, IOSH
• Time served / BTEC Mechanical Engineering and lean/Sigma training highly desirable
