Job Title: Production Manager

Location: Wolverhampton

Salary: Negotiable, dependent on experience, up to 50k

Shift Patterns: 07:30 - 16:00 Monday - Thursday, 07:30 - 12:00 Friday

Oliver Rae is working with a well-known Metal Pressings and Assemblies manufacturer based in Wolverhampton. They are seeking a hands-on Production Manager with experience in the Metals industry.

Our client serves the Automotive, Aerospace, and Industrial sectors.

Brief Description of Job Duties

• Manage a team of 50 employees.
• Set performance goals and deadlines aligned with the company's vision.
• Engage employees in challenging tasks.
• Promote continuous learning and professional development.
• Organise workflow across presses, including progression and coil-fed press machines.
• Handle complaints and resolve issues.
• Coordinate with the production planning department.
• Create job plans for the shop floor.
• Prioritise workload effectively.
• Motivate, encourage, and guide employees.
• Report to senior management.
• Ensure KPI targets are met.
• Conduct daily meetings and appraisals.
• Perform health and safety checks.
• Advise on work in progress.
