Job summary

Halo Personnel Ltd is recruiting for a Day Shift Production Manager in Wetherby. The role leads the shift team in safe, efficient food manufacturing, ensuring all products meet customer and quality standards.

You will drive planning, resource allocation, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has FMCG experience, IOSH or equivalent, RCA training and strong leadership, communication, and reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG manufacturing environments.
• Able to lead a shift team and drive safety and quality.
• Proficient in data and reporting, including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety and food safety leadership to the team.
• Ensure all products meet technical and quality requirements.
• Plan effectively and organise resources to meet plans.
• Identify gaps and train staff accordingly.
• Allocate, train, and manage resources for tasks.
• Update plans and take corrective actions as needed.
• Recommend process, equipment, and training improvements.

Day Shift Production Manager

c£60,000.00 per annum

Negotiable for the right candidate

Working: 6:00 am to 6:00 pm in 'Panama pattern' - Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun week 1 and Wed, Thurs week 2

You must have FMCG experience, IOSH or equivalent and Route Cause Analysis (RCA) training be to be considered for this role

Duties:

• Provide safety and food safety leadership to the team
• Ensure all products meet the business and customer technical and quality requirements
• Effective planning and organisation
• Gap analysis and training provision for staff
• Ensure suitable resources are recruited trained and allocated to all tasks
• Update plans, ensure the business is running to the plan, and take actions to correct anomalies
• Makes recommendations for improvement to process, equipment, training and documentation
